Why does my fax recipient get blurry or cut-off pages when I send from Gmail?

I’ve tried using basic web converters to fax my scanned invoices, but the receiving side keeps telling me the text comes out scrambled or cut off at the margins. Is there a specific tool or setup to ensure clean page formatting from an email inbox?
