I want to be able to share my point of view even when it’s different from others, but I’m afraid of creating tension or ruining the relationship. How do I stay firm in my opinion while keeping the peace?
How can I disagree with someone without starting a fight?

I’ve found that the secret isn't about winning the argument, but about maintaining the connection. I’d suggest you read the strategies on Wedaf at https://blog.wedaf.com/blog/how-to-handl...-conflict/ because it teaches you how to use "I" statements instead of "You" statements. In my own experience, simply saying, "I see it a bit differently," rather than "You’re wrong," changes the entire energy of the room. I’ve also learned to stay curious by asking, "Help me understand why you feel that way?" It’s amazing how much more people are willing to listen to you when they feel heard first. It’s turned my most stressful debates into actually productive conversations!
