Trade between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan has been growing steadily in recent years, and cargo flows (sea, air, and overland) form a central part of that. In FY 2023‑24 / 2024‑25 bilateral trade (goods + services) exceeded US$10 billion; goods trade was about US$8.4‑10.1 billion depending on the year, of which Pakistan exports to UAE are around US$2‑2.1 billion and imports from the UAE are much larger (roughly US$6‑8 billion).Port Qasim Performance Improvements: Port Qasim has been recognized in the World Bank’s Container Port Performance Index (CPPI 2024) as the 9th most improved port globally.
