GENERAL GUIDELINES - SGS_Forum_Admin - 09-29-2023

Hi there! and Welcome! We're glad to see you here because of your interest in SGS. You're welcome to stick around and check out all our forum' sections.
Please respect our guidelines in order to make sure that everyone has a positive experience while being here.

General Behavior:
  • Respect Everyone: Discrimination, hate speech, and personal attacks are not tolerated.
  • Stay on Topic: Stick to the designated channels for specific topics to avoid clutter.
  • No Spamming: Repeatedly sending messages or irrelevant content is disruptive.
  • No Self-promotion: Unless the server rules specifically allow it, refrain from promoting your content or services.
  • Use Appropriate Language: Swearing or offensive language should be limited, especially in mixed or professional groups.

Content Sharing:
  • Avoid NSFW Content: Unless it's a server that specifically allows it, always avoid sharing explicit content.
  • Check Sources: Before sharing news or information, ensure it's from a reputable source to avoid spreading misinformation.
  • Limit Large Files: Large files can be disruptive and may slow down the server. Use external links or compress them

Privacy:
  • No Doxing: Sharing personal information, whether your own or someone else's, without permission is strictly forbidden.
  • Be Cautious with External Links: Phishing scams or malware links can sometimes be spread through Discord. Only open links from trusted sources.

General Etiquette:
  • Respect Mod Decisions: The moderators are there to maintain a positive environment. If you have concerns, approach them respectfully.
  • Use Content Warnings: If discussing potentially triggering topics, preface your message with a warning.
  • Avoid Drama: Public servers aren't the place for personal grievances. If conflicts arise, take them to DMs or resolve them maturely.

Thank you all!
